Our summer visitors of barn swallows, who nest each year in our Church porch entrance, have now departed for the sunnier climes of North Africa and beyond. However, our resident colony of bats in the Church attic will stay with us.

This week has been a quiet week, after a busy couple of days earlier, planting bulbs and sowing the wildflower meadow.
